Summary: The Russian Revolution is the term for a series of revolutions in Russia in 1917. These revolutions destroyed the Tsar and led to the creation of the Soviet union. The Tsar was then replaced by a provisional government during the February revolution. And in the second revolution, the October one, the provisional Government was removed and replaced with the Bolsheviks.
