Summary: Mohandas Gandhi led the Indian Congress Party, and he ruled with a form of non violent resistance called pacifism. His right hand man was named Jawaharlal Behru and he totally believed that Hindus and Muslims could equally share an independent India. Following this, Declare Independance for India began in 1930 and soon after civil disobedience occurs. He was eventually assassinated in 1947 by another Hindu after the end of the partition.
