Summary: There were two revolutions in 1917, The February revolution and the march revolution. The Feb. one was the one that forced the Tsar to abdicate and set up a provisional government. The government was made up mostly of democratic- socialist reformers. The October revolution was the one that included the bolsheviks, who deposed the provisional government but did not over throw the Tsar.
